Welcome to the Kenai-Soldotna Climate Action forum. Our purpose is to examine ways of responding to climate change on the Kenai Peninsula, choose the potential actions most effective in our local situation, then implement and advocate them.

Since March 2019, we’ve previously held monthly meetings at the Soldotna Public Library, using as a discussion guide the book Drawdown: The Most Comprehensive Plan Ever Proposed to Reverse Global Warming, edited by Paul Hawken. This forum is meant to compliment those meetings by providing an online venue for research and discussion.
