The Kenai Peninsula Ratepayers Alliance strives to increase energy literacy, educate, & empower our community to engage with our elected cooperative utility.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Human-caused climate change is a threat to our community. As residents of the Kenai Peninsula, one of our biggest opportunities to make an impact is through our collective consumption of natural gas  to generate our electricity. As owner-members of a democratically elected utility cooperative, it is our responsibility to hold our cooperative accountable to meaningfully reducing carbon emissions.

A group of volunteers who live, work, & play on the Kenai Peninsula. Inspiration for this group comes from the book, ‘All We Can Save‘
